Creation of RSB
Creation of RSB. After a career in IT after-sales service, Damien COCULA understood that the management of WEEE was still poorly organised and wanted to improve this situation by creating RSB. Shortly after, the first European Directive on WEEE was published in 2002.
On the road in his van, he travelled the Rhône-Alpes region to recover computer waste.
Installation in Pringy
This approach was successful and the first RSB premises rapidly became too small. Damien COCULA installed his business in Pringy and recruited a forklift operator and a secretary.
Box & decoder specialist
This year marked a turning point for RSB’s activity. The company started specialising in the buy-back of telecom boxes and decoders and the recycling of electronic components. RSB became a key partner for the major players on the French internet market.
Move to Amancy
As the Pringy site was becoming cramped, and wishing to develop its processing and recycling activities, RSB moved to its current indoor site with a surface of over 4,000 m² in Amancy.
Leader in telecom products
As a partner to most Internet access providers for the past 10 years, recycling more than 90% of boxes and decoders used in French homes while developing the business throughout Europe, RSB has been able to develop further its offer and its services. With the aim of compensating its customers as best as possible and reaching or even exceeding the recycling and recovery objectives required by current regulations.
